10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu was founded by Eddie Bravo, a black belt under legendary Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu master Jean-Jacques Machado. After his historic submission victory over Royler Gracie at ADCC in 2003, Eddie launched the 10th Planet system as a no-gi approach built for modern grappling, MMA and submission control.
What began as an answer to the demands of real fighting and modern grappling has grown into one of the most influential movements in the world. The system stands for innovation, adaptability, creativity and the constant evolution of jiu-jitsu, while staying rooted in real technique, real pressure and real community.
At 10th Planet Orange, we carry that same standard: high-level coaching, honest training and a community built to help every student grow.

None at all. The large majority of people who walk through our doors have never trained a day in their life. Every class scales to your level and our coaches and training partners will look after you from your very first roll.
Shorts without zippers or pockets, a rash guard or a compression/dry-fit shirt, water, and a change of clothes. Bring slip-on shoes or sandals for off the mat, keep your nails trimmed, and bring a positive attitude, that's it.
Yes. Classes are split by age and level, training is controlled, and safety and respect are non-negotiable in our room. Jiu-jitsu is one of the best things a kid, or an adult, can do for discipline, focus and real confidence.
